1. Who we are
This website is operated by Avanti Mind Ltd, a company registered in England and Wales, company number 16049394. Our registered office is The Venture Centre, Sir William Lyons Road, University of Warwick Science Park, Coventry, CV4 7EZ. Avanti Yield is a product of Avanti Mind Ltd.
Avanti Mind Ltd is the data controller for the personal data described here. That means we decide what is collected and why, and we are answerable for it.
This policy covers the Avanti Yield website. It does not cover other websites we link to; once you follow a link, the destination's own policy applies.
2. What we collect, and why
When you send us an enquiry. The contact form asks for your name, your email address, a subject and your message. A company name is optional. Your enquiry reaches us by email, and we use it to reply to you.
When you join the early-access list. We collect your email address, your name if you give it, and a note of where on the site you signed up. We use it to tell you when Avanti Yield opens.
When you subscribe to the newsletter. We collect your email address, and use it to send you the newsletter.
When you simply visit. Our server keeps a short-lived session record so pages and forms work. That record includes your IP address and the browser you are using.
We also keep technical records of errors so we can find and fix faults. Those records hold the fault itself, not you.
We do not collect anything else on this website. There is no analytics here, no advertising or measurement code, and no third-party tracking of any kind. We do not buy personal data, we do not sell it, and we do not share it for anyone else's marketing.
Please do not send us special category data, such as information about health, beliefs or ethnicity, in an enquiry. We do not want it and do not need it.
3. Our lawful basis
UK data protection law requires a lawful basis for each use of your data. Ours are these.

Where we rely on legitimate interests we have weighed them against your rights and are satisfied they do not override them. You can ask us to explain that assessment, and you can object to processing based on them.
4. Cookies and browser storage
This site sets two cookies. Neither tracks you, and neither reports to anyone else.
yield-sessionkeeps your visit together so forms work. It lasts two hours from your last activity.XSRF-TOKENproves a form submission came from this site and not from somewhere else. It has the same lifetime.
Both are strictly necessary to provide the site you asked for, so we do not ask for consent to them.
We also store three small values in your own browser, not on our servers, and they never leave your device:
- your light or dark theme choice;
- a note that you have seen our launch message, so we do not show it again for 30 days;
- a note that you have dismissed our early-access prompt, which clears when you close the tab.
These record choices you have made. The rules let us store them without asking, provided we tell you what they do and let you refuse them, which is what this section is for. Clearing site data in your browser removes them.
There is no consent banner because there is nothing here to consent to. If we ever add measurement or advertising, we will ask you first and this page will say so before anything is set.
To refuse or remove any of this, block or delete cookies and site data for this site in your browser settings. The site will still load, but forms will stop working without the two cookies.
5. Who else sees your data
We keep the number of hands your data passes through as small as we can.
- Our email provider, which carries the messages we send and the enquiries you send us.
- Our hosting and infrastructure providers, on whose servers this site and its records sit.
- Our own error-reporting service, run by Avanti Mind, which records technical fault details.
Each acts only on our written instructions. We will also disclose personal data where the law requires it, or where it is necessary to protect the rights, safety or property of Avanti Mind, our visitors or others.
Where a provider processes personal data outside the United Kingdom, we rely either on adequacy regulations made by the UK government or on the UK's International Data Transfer Agreement, so your data keeps an equivalent level of protection. Ask us and we will tell you which applies.
6. How long we keep it
- Enquiries are kept while we deal with them and for up to 24 months afterwards, so we have a record of what was asked and answered. Then we delete them.
- Early-access and newsletter addresses are kept until you unsubscribe or ask us to remove yours, and we clear addresses we have not used for 24 months.
- Session records are cleared shortly after the session expires.
- Error records are kept only as long as we need them to diagnose the fault.
Where the law requires us to keep something for longer, we keep only that record and only for as long as required.
7. How we protect it
Traffic to this site is encrypted in transit. Access to the records described here is limited to people who need it. The site sets a strict content security policy, so no third-party code can run on these pages. No system is perfectly secure, but if a breach occurs that is likely to affect your rights we will tell you and the Information Commissioner's Office as the law requires.
8. Your rights
Over your personal data you have the right:
- to be informed about how it is used, which this page does;
- to a copy of what we hold about you;
- to have inaccurate data corrected;
- to have it erased in certain circumstances;
- to have our use of it restricted in certain circumstances;
- to receive certain data in a portable format;
- to object to processing based on our legitimate interests, and to object to direct marketing at any time, which we will always honour;
- to withdraw consent at any time, which does not affect anything done before you withdrew it.
We do not make decisions about you by automated means.
To exercise any of these, use the contact page. We will respond within the time the law allows, normally one month. There is no charge in ordinary cases.
9. Marketing email
We only send early-access and newsletter emails to people who asked for them by submitting one of our forms. Every one carries a one-click unsubscribe, and unsubscribing takes effect immediately. You can also ask us to remove you through the contact page.
10. Children
This website is aimed at professionals and is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children. If you believe a child has sent us personal data, tell us through the contact page and we will remove it.
11. Complaints
If you are unhappy with how we have handled your personal data, tell us first through the contact page. You have a legal right to complain to us directly. We will acknowledge your complaint within 30 days, look into it, and tell you the outcome.
You also have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner's Office, the UK's data protection regulator, at ico.org.uk. You can go to the ICO whether or not you have come to us first.
12. Changes to this policy
If we change what we collect or what we do with it, we will update this page and change the date at the top before the change takes effect.
